Orchestra Coasters
I’ve been dying to share this project with people, I’ve been working on it (with lots of help from Mr. Mark Azevedo!). I recently joined the Menlo Park TechShop, and wanted to make a fun, company-branded bit of merchandise, so I set out to make a small batch of custom coasters, that represented the design and engineering relationship of our company, here’s how they came out:

I am really happy with them, slightly oversized, good thickness, and look great on our tables! I spent a few nights “mass producing”, I think we made about 30 or 40, here’s a shot of them mid-process:

The design idea was to create a coaster in the shape/form of our logo, with the lines of the logo filled in with code from our server and client. There are two variations. Both files represent the communication between their respective ends.
I’m going to do one last run of these (limited edition!), so if you want one, get in touch, maybe I can get one to you.
