Hello. My name is Derek Perez. I write software, particularly for the internets. I’m mostly writing Ruby, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. I believe in Open Source and try to contribute as much as I can, through Github

I like cats, and play music in the evenings. I currently reside in Menlo Park, CA and I work for one of the many cat startups in Palo Alto.
